Provincial scholarships and grants are available for Canadian citizens permanent residents of Canada. International students are eligible for modest merit awards. No application is necessary for merit-based awards. International students of outstanding academic merit and personal accomplishment who would otherwise not have the means to attend university may be nominated for awards, of which a limited number are awarded annually of between $ 15 , 000 -$ 35 , 000 , depending on means. These awards are by nomination only (deadline for nominations January 31 ). Athletic scholarships are available for outstanding athletes, at head coach discretion in accordance with CIS rules.
