As Missouri's fourth largest metorpolitan area, Joplin has the benefits of city life, but it's small enough and safe enough to feel like home. It is also just a short drive from Kansas City, MO which is 2 1/2 hours away. Branson, MO and Tulsa, OK are both less than 2 hours away. And in less then an hour, hiking, camping and canoeing can be found in the beautiful Ozarks region.
