ACT Bridge Program

If you’re a college-bound student prepping for the ACT with The Ƶ Review, we’ve got you covered.

This page will walk you through the many ways that TPR students can bridge the gap created by disruptions to scheduled test dates. For starters, you’ll continue to have access to key resources until your new test date. We’re here to help you ensure that you still receive your best possible score. (If you’re not enrolled in a program with us, you may find some helpful advice and resources on this page. Please call 1-800-2-REVIEW or email prep@review.com if we can be of assistance.)

Plus, check out our ACT cancellation page for updates about new test dates and policies.

If your ACT-taking plans were disrupted, the silver lining is that you’ve got time—not just to stay sharp, but to get sharper. Here are four things you can start doing now:

1. Continue meeting with The Ƶ Review’s expert instructors through ACT Advantage sessions.

Every week, your ACT Advantage sessions give you access to at least three different LiveOnline sessions. To attend, go to the “ACT Advantage” tab of your ACT online student dashboard. You’ll also be able to see upcoming sessions and add those to your study plan.

You will have this option as long as your online access is active, and The Ƶ Review will extend your access as necessary to make sure you can prep until your test date arrives.

2. Make a study plan.

Draw up a study plan to help manage your time. Your plan doesn’t need to be elaborate. It can be as simple as designating one day of the week for each question type or topic. For example, Monday could be devoted to English, Tuesday could be your day for Math, Wednesday could be for Reading, and Thursday for Science. Designate the number of questions and online lessons you want to do each day, and you’ve got a study plan!

3. Keep practicing.

The most important thing you can do between now and your test is to stay in practice. Even doing three or four ACT questions per day will help you maintain your edge.

In particular, we advise taking additional practice tests. There’s a strong correlation between the number of practice tests taken and the score increase achieved. As part of your course, you were assigned three or four tests. If you haven’t taken all the assigned tests, set aside some time to do so.

In addition, your course utilized ; you should work to finish any remaining questions in that book. You also have access to many additional tests in your student portal, under the “Supplemental Tests” heading. Add some or all these additional tests to your study plan.

Finish any online drills that you haven’t completed, too. If you didn’t finish all the drills and homework in your course manual, complete those! Explanations to homework questions can be found in the “Coursework” tab of your student portal.

In addition to reserving large blocks of time to take practice tests, set aside smaller chunks of time each day to review your practice tests thoroughly. Use your practice test results to identify topics that are keeping you from getting a better score. Then, use questions and video lessons from the online drills (found in the “Coursework” tab) to address those areas. Don’t try to fix all your weaknesses at once. Fix two things, take a test, then find two new things, and then fix those!

4. Use all the resources available to you.

Our ACT programs include more than a dozen practice tests, dozens of online lessons, and thousands of practice questions. If you work your way through those and want additional practice questions, check out by The Ƶ Review. This book includes eight practice tests as well as additional practice questions. Explanations for all these questions are available, too. Plus, it’s available wherever books are sold. You can find even more practice opportunities in and . These books contain practice questions, drills, and practice sections. They are also available wherever books are sold.

We are all in uncharted territory right now, but please know that we will be here for you every step of the way. We are rooting for you!
